The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I was using my phone playing Tetris, and when i went to exit the game my phone shut itself down. Now I thought this was strange, but I just thought it needed turning back on.
When I tried to turn it back on, I get the welcome screen then straight after i recieve the goodbye screen. Also plugging the charger in sometimes shows the charging animation you get when the phone is off but you are charging it, but the majority of the time it doesn't do anything. (The battery has also been taken out numerous times too)
Now when i try to turn it on either nothing happens with the phone, or it does the whole hello/goodbye stage. This makes me think the phone is okay, atleast partially
Does anyone have any ideas on what has happened? Software? Hardware? Solutions?
If it turns on then immediately off, with the animations, that typically indicates that the battery is too low to use. Has some juice, but not nearly enough. The way Li-Ion batteries work is weird.
I'd see if you can get ahold of a different battery, even if just to test using someone else's phone. I've seen other Samsungs fail the same way before, and it's usually a battery or charger issue.
