Basically, this game is a counter to Dynasty Warriors and throws out all that "history" bull shit with Samurai who fight with SIX SWORDS and SHOOT LIGHTENING! And generally kill the hell out of anything that breathes. It's kind the kind of mindless killing gameplay that's been lost in our era of agnsty plots and gameplay gimmicks. Sometimes, you just need to stab people until they die.

These are from the second game, but the first is available in the US under the title of Devil Kings.

    Because Japanese history is too esoteric for the west, so Devil Kings is about a bunch of luchadores.

    I doubt it's worth a $50 purchase, but it looks like it's worth playing once used if only for the insane Japanese-ness.

    Sort of like watching their gameshows, it's strangely entrancing.
