I really thought he would be alright after the authorities found his wife.

As you know, he was one of the Cnet editors, and also was on tech tv before it was bought out by G4.

Although I never personally met him, It really does bum me out, as the era of Tech TV he was on (With Call for help, The Screensavers, etc.... with the old crew like Leo Laporte and Kevin Rose) holds a significant portion of my heart, I learned something new just about every time I sat down to watch the station.

Feel free to share any memories/additions, etc.

    Bad news came yesterday... its really sad.

    He tried his best to save his family. He died without knowing they have been saved...


    Oh well, a great man.

    I loved his Mp3 player reviews...

    Rest in peace James, rest in peace...
