So here is what you'll be working with:
1. I have this awesome woman in my life.
2. I have about $100-200 to spend on her for the 'main' Christmas gift. I'll be spending another 50-150 (depending on how much the main gift costs) for smaller stuff.
3. Astrology.

When I met Ms. X, I discovered she was into it. Running charts. Comparison charts. Etc. I let her know right from the start that my only experience was with horoscopes (and the Zodiac in regards to FFT, hehehe), and that I did have this image of it as being silly and unreliable, if not romantic.
Well, she pulled me in to it all. Yes, my interest in it has to do with her, and this fucking amazing connection we have... but only partially. I'm also open minded and curious and find the fact that it gets so detailed and complex pretty fascinating.
To wrap this up and not turn it into a saga (to late?), I need a recommendation. Ms. X showed me some software on her laptop (new and shiney!) that she... 'aquired'... but I want her to have the best there is. The most robust! The most complete! With the newest and bestest... erm... methodologies and calculations for astrology.
So... any one have any tips on what to look for or recommendations or whatever? I'm going to stroll through some Astronomy sites/forums as well, but I figured I'd give PA a shot. This forum has helped me a few other times, just when I wasnt the OP.

If anyone has ever used this software, or knows any problems with it, or has a better suggestion, I'd love to hear from you. Think I'm going to buy it on the 15th when I get paid, as it looks feature packed (compared to the software the girlfriend already has on her laptop) and the price fits within my range (and hey, 50% off, woot).
