    so I've been playing this a bunch

    basically just made me and my wife, played it for a bunch of hours

    this is a ridiculously great little game, but holy fuck it is a time vampire

    The game is awesome but it almost feels like a step back because it feels like Sims 2 with some frills minus 10 expansion packs.

    Of course you kinda have to give it to them because you know their plan is to suck the money out of people with an even better slew of 15 expansions over 4 years.

    there's a lot of stuff that wasn't in vanilla sims 2 that's in here though, like cars and such

    and I like the flexibility of moving the driveway basically anywhere

    This game has gotten me into trouble.

    My sim roommate has been hitting on Vivienne's sim sister and now is going to paint her portrait, apparently now my sim should paint a portrait of Vivienne, this is of course ignoring the fact that I am at actual work.

    not unless they've hidden it to where I can't find it. you gotta go to edit town, then evict your guy, then see if everything totals to the house you want

    amazon's package tracking is strange. 3 days after it left the amazon facility in Kentucky I see there is an arrival scan with no location. Taking the tracking number directly to the usps site does nothing.

    Edit: Probably some unix system with a secure login that has no front facing web server.

    when you click move, and you get to the move screen where you decide who is going where, it says how much money you're taking with you, and gives you an option to sell your furniture or take it with you (but only if you move everybody)

    Is it abnormal for adult sims to be able to woohoo with teen sims? I didn't think they could, but my current sim apparently can.

    It actually does have an option to try for baby. I wonder if this is a glitch, or if it is allowed by some trait or traits that I have? I think I have childish, charismatic, commitment issues, ambitious and I can't remember the last one. Maybe it is from the combination of childish and charismatic. Kinda creepy.
