    edit: They should stop adding direct MS effects and try that reverse MS effect that they had for Shaman's on PTR a long time ago: instead of reducing healing done to the target, reduces healing done by the target.

    many buffs in this ptr patch.
    seems like everything is 'y is now z (up from x)'. ^^
    They should stop adding direct MS effects and try that reverse MS effect that they had for Shaman's on PTR a long time ago: instead of reducing healing done to the target, reduces healing done by the target.

    They added that to Warriors, reVerse. And that is MUCH harsher effect since it's basically applying an MS to everyone.

    Normal MS is healing done to target is reduced.

    Reverse MS is healing done by target is reduced.

    Normal MS is boring, but we don't have any reverse MS effects that players can do that I can think of.

    In case he was saying "huh" to the Shaman bit, I think the reference was to when Flametongue was experimentally used to apply a healing debuff.

    Uncounterable -healing effects are stupid and always will be. They're just too powerful to have no counter. Mortal Strike (the actual warrior ability) and Aimed Shot are both like this. It would also be quite stupid to have so many -healing effects that, even if they were all counterable, are too common for anyone to counter and still have time to actually heal.

    As for the "civility in PvP" stuff, over the past four days I've been gallavanting around Stormwind on my Horde Holy paladin, looking for good 2v1 fights. During my meanderings, I only strike down three types of people: 1) other level 80s who I'm certain are prepared to fight me, 2) anyone who assists an 80 who I'm fighting, and 3) people with stupid names. These are actually the rules I always follow, but I try to make them more explicit while in Alliance cities by emoting my intentions. Everyone without a stupid name gets a /hi as I zoom by with Crusader Aura, everyone I want to fight gets to see me standing in front of them with melee engaged but just far enough away to not hit them until they're ready, and everyone I defeat in a fair fight gets a /salute.

    SOOOOOO i just got hacked, I received an email on gmail that said it was from WoWAccountAdmin@blizzard.com and since blizzard.com is a trusted site, i thought it was legit. It seemed to read right and stuff, and mentioned that it detected malicious activity tied to my account, and in order to verify that i was the owner i had to DUN DUN DUN go to a site and enter my information. I didn't really question it since it said it was from WoWAccountAdmin@blizzard.com, so i just did it, odd enough it just went directly to the community site. At this point i got uncomfortable about it, but i trusted the blizzard.com. My stupid ass totally forgot that someone can say that they are from somewhere else and you don't see the original email account in gmail unless you hit "show information" on the email.

    I'm contacting blizzard and such, but i'm sure i'll be cleaned out completely, 20k+ gold, about 5k worth of materials, epics etc.

    Has anyone had any experience with this? Is blizzard relatively good with returning goods/gold, is it going to take four weeks, or will they not return anything at all?

    any help would be appreciated

    So blizz dropped the hammer on the worgen pets, taking the abilities and talents away. He is still a worgen but usless in battle.

    Anyhoo when I went to check out if this was real I noticed something weird on my character screen:

    There's a big backup on the support line so i'm sitll waiting to get connected to someone, i have zero hope that we'll be able to freeze it in time, if they were able to change my password in less than 10 minutes i doubt they'll wait more than an hour to steal all the goods

    Cant you just try to hit the retrieve password link and change it yourself or do hackers change the registered email address(don't know if thats possible)?

    EDIT: oh they let you change your email so nevermind to that idea.

    EDIT2: They need your secret question and answer to change email address so you could still try doing this instead of just sitting on the phone.

    At first I was 'no wai dewd' and then I remembered that they don't reset by being kited out of their rooms. I so wish I was in a guild that had a shot at this achievement... because it sounds awesome.

    The newest season of Arena gear can only be purchased if you meet the requirements with your 3 or 5-player team rating. Rating requirements from 2-player teams can still be used to purchase the previous season of gear.

    re: the emalon/koralon/archavon simultaneous achievements, i imagine you'd probably have one tank take Archavon and Koralon and another tank take Emalon + his adds. Tank them such that DPS can hit them all easily, and that way the adds go down easily too.

    the recruit a friend benefit is account wide, not character wide, so if he does it, then when his level 80 character is around you, you get triple exp, and if he has a character the same level as yours he gets the triple too.

    They did change that. 2v2 can get everything except weapons (and shoulders?).
