I love the art direction going on here. I have no previous knowledge of this "Aion" game that you mention, other than your post I am quoting. But if I didn't know better (which I may very well not) I would say that those screenshots have "Made by the same dudes who did Guild Wars" written all over them. The faces look identical, the fonts look similar, and the sex appeal factor that NCSoft so loves to put into their characters is there, as well.

so....you're a DX10 elitist? I don't get your angle here. Those screens were taken with all settings maxed. Maybe you just have a thing against hobbit holes? Also, the game's textures (as with any game) look fuck ugly up close. Perhaps the shots are too zoomed-in for your liking? I can't do much with "ugly graphics are ugly lulz", I need more input. Moooore input.

Haha, I'm HARDLY a DX10 elitist. All I know is in all other LoTRO screens I've seen the game looks a lot better than that. Maybe it's just the player housing that looks like crap. Obviously if your settings are maxed there's no amount of input that's going to help.
Unless you're one of the designers you don't have to take it so personally. Last time I checked bad screenshots weren't a reflection on someones character.

I'm good. I've been using VP for six years and you're the first person to have a problem viewing the photos, so I'd say that's a decent track record, hardly worth switching hosts.
