    Goldfish don't ostracise strange or unusual goldfish.

    All other animals, if you are mutated or freak out and twitch when you shouldn't, they ostracise you, cast you from the herd/swarm/flock whatever.

    But not goldfish.

    You can zap a goldfish, give it brain damage, drop it in a pond with other goldfish, they'll love the mutated twitching freak. The outlier becomes their new god.

    I think that's just because they don't care about anything. These are also fish that eat poop. Spit it out. Look for food and try the poop again just in case.

    Sure they have intelligence but tact, class, and charm not so much. I guess if your goldfish will follow your finger it's on the road to stardom. From what I other stand their memory can last for months without any reinforcement and they are quite capable of remembering faces etc.
