Neverwinter Nights trouble [SOLVED]

I am having problems with the original Neverwinter Nights. It crashes to the desktop without even making it to the main menu, and when I try to go into Configure, I get an error dialogue saying "EAccessViolation".
I am running this on a HP Compaq nx8220 laptop, its specifications are:
Intel Pentium M Processor 1.86 GHz
512 MB RAM
ATi/AMD Radeon x600.
I have Hordes of the Underdark installed, and ran the Critical Update and is patched up to version 1.68.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Ok, I did a reinstall, and everything appears to be working fine now. So, ah, problem solved.
