Cancelling T Mobile

I want to cancel my t-mobile account.

I am still in contract.

I'm sick and tired of not getting any 3g access any of the places where I spend the majority of my time aka work and home.

I know at&t offers 3g in pretty much every area I ever go.

anyone know if this is reasonable grounds to get out of my contract?

    No it's not. You'll have to pay an ETF.

    To you, yeah. To them, no. They will charge you to leave your contract. But I think that amount depends on how long you have left on your contract. Call them up. Tell them exactly what you posted.

    This is important. If you want to keep your current number DO NOT CANCEL tmobile before you sign up with a new provider.

    If you cancel the account you lose your number forever. Porting your number over to a new provider will cancel tmobile automatically and all you will then have to do is pay the etf and go on with your life.

    yeah I know ALLLLL about porting numbers. no worries there.
    I work for a umm. rather large corporation that happens to offer cable internet and telephone services, and I also happen to work in the telephone/internet repair department.

    but hey! I appreciate the info.

    any tips or leads like last june's sms rate hike would be super awesome if anyone can clue me in on some tmobile get out of contract free cards.
