So way, way back in the day (1998 or so) I had this demo disc with Ambrosia Software (and perhaps other companies, not sure) shareware games on it for my Macintosh Power PC. It included Escape Velocity of course, but one game in particular I can't seem to find any trace of.

You started off as a baby in a house in the middle of a jungle or safari-plains area. You went out and "defeated" (not killed!) animals like bears and boars and generally explored the area, trying to survive. As I remember, the color palette was very small (white, black, brown, and green mostly). As each year went on, you grew older, and the demo ended after you were like 3 years old, so I never got very far into it.

The game was 2-D, top-down view.

Thanks and good luck finding this one.

Well unless any of the games on this page look familiar, it's probably not an actual Ambrosia game. Doesn't sound familiar to me though.
