Can someone translate what this sign says for me? It was purchased in Taiwan, so I realize it may not make complete sense to begin with, but I'd like to have a general idea.
My Japanese also isn't that great, but I believe it says:
On the top: "Sales declined"
First monkey: See no evil
Second monkey: Hear no evil
Third monkey: Pay no evil (I'm guessing that's the joke, since it's supposed to be "speak no evil")
Posts
セールス Sales
お断り To reject/decline
[strike]Not sure on the meaning on the rest, but maybe the monkeys are a reference to ざる sounding like さる which can mean monkey?[/strike]
Edit: nmind, I forgot conjugations and stuff.
