Firewire Faux Pas?

Here's the situation on this thread. I have an Antec Sonata II case, which is pretty popular, as many of you know. I have a gigabyte motherboard that doesnt have a firewire port in the backpanel. Now the issue is how do I connect all of these wires to the right ports. I will supply more info when I get home, but any information available right now would be great. The thing is, the firewire doesn't fucking work from the front panel. The USB works, but not the firewire, nor the microphone jack.

Your motherboard manual and maybe a case manual should cover all that, try going to their respective sites and pulling up pdfs of the manuals?

Assuming your motherboard has the wiring for a firewire port (some don't) your wires are probably just plugged into the wrong places. Dig up the manual for your motherboard or download it from the manufacturers website and double check all your wiring.

EDIT: Yeah what Ohemeffgee said. :P
