Probably really easy windows question that yet I can't figure out

Okay, so I generally have a bunch of windows open at one time at my work computer, and my job requires me to switch between them quickly.

The annoying thing is that the taskbar has it that instead of all the windows having their own separate button, all windows explorer windows are in one button which I then have to click to see them, same with outlook, etc.

My computer isn't locked, so I can change settings. How can I have each button displayed on the taskbar?

P.S Please don't recommend dl firefox. If I could, I would.

While it's not the optimal solution, you can right click your taskbar at the bottom, make sure it isn't locked, and then you can make it bigger by dragging the upper part of it further up your screen. If you have less windows of the same thing open, it will usually fan them out, but if you have like 9 explorer windows and such on there with some other crap, it will probably always stick them inside each other. Which sucks.

Right click the taskbar, click properties, then uncheck "Group similar taskbar buttons".

You can also alt+tab between windows. Or use tabs in IE, which I think it what you mean when you say windows explorer which is quite a different thing from what you mean. I think.

Windows explorer =/= to internet explorer

Woops, forgot to mention that yeah, Alt+Tab is normally my prefer and fastest method to navigate, but sometimes clicking ends up being just a tad easier.

And yeah, I had resize the taskbar and all the buttons were displayed individually, but I guess I must have pressed a hotkey or something, because suddenly they ended up being grouped.

But thank you! The group similar thing worked. This can be closed.

are they all ie windows pointed at different reference/webtool sites? if the work computer is using ie8 you can hit ctrl+q for quick tab browsing.
