I apologise in advance if this is posted in the wrong area or if its a stupid question.

Right, I'm planning on making my own web comic in the near future, but before I can do that, I need to know which program to use. The Adobe website just confused me further, and I thought it best to ask the opinions of those who have already done it. Something akin to whatever Gabe and Tycho use, but bear in mind I'm not looking to spend a fortune.

Thanks, also in advance.

Best place for this is Questions, Discussion and Tutorials, stickied at the top.

But to answer your question, the best thing to start with is paper, pencil and a pen. You won't find these items on the Adobe site but they are readily available in many places, worldwide.

    Good luck and enjoy!

    Hi,

Welcome to the AC. Questions like this belong in the questions thread. But Gabe uses Photoshop with a giant Wacom tablet. These things along with a high-end computer can cost many dollars, so if you want you can start off simple and draw things by hand, and scan them with a $100 scanner.
