oh that explains it. i was wondering why no one could hear the words coming out of my mouth.

i'll try the game for a little longer. it's got some cool things going for it, but it's not really immediatly grabbing me.

You made a villain, that's why. Blue side (Heroes) is morally better.

Yeah, with a trial you need your "friend" to take you around, since you're limited in how you can communicate (due to trying to limit spam accounts).

So you need to find a PA dude online, don't know how you can do that in game without chat channels, might just have to ask for someone to help you out in the thread here? Once you hookup with someone they can do all the speaking for ya.

So, Thanatos has a new brute that he hates soloing with, so I make up a corrupter to start up villain side with. "Didn't I just infract you?" "Yes, yes you did." :^:

So we're dragging my ass along to catch up to his level 5, and it's a few levels of some hairy situations before I realize I can heal. I forgot I had a heal power aside from my attacks! Winnar... So yeah, I expect another infraction to be coming today out of hatred.

Cryoactive is bitching though. He's not fat it's just the suit dammit.

I was under the impression that hero-side was more popular than 'Villains?

Unless of course you're just talking content-wise :)

    They're honestly about the same.

Villains have slightly better zones, but it isn't that big a deal.

I think I prefer heroside, just because you're not stuck with such a linear zone progression. I like variety.

Don't supposed anyone has one of those 'Invite a friend back' codes they want to give out?
I've been itching for some superheroing fun for awhile, and my account's been closed for....awhile, so I'd be happy to take a code off someone's hands.

I like playing red side because the hard part of the missions isn't having the patience to spend all your playtime running from one side of the map to the other.

Huh, power customization. Or at least colourization, I see. I guess its a response to CO, considering it was always said by Cryptic/NCNC/Paragon to be too time consuming/resource intensive to do it.

Still, in and of itself, it's not enough to base an issue around IMO, unless there's a ton of other content with it. Systems are cool and all, but the game needs some more depth too.

To be fair, they actually have more than seven dwarves working on the game now. It might still be just as intensive, but actually possible now.

Yeah, thats true. I guess not all the extra resources Paragon got are being used on the expansion.

And uh, my subscription expired again. I think I'll be back in the fall, I don't seem to have a lot of time even for the MMO I was playing this summer, let alone one I'm not playing.

So the new booster pack is science and is on test right now. It lets you have the option to change your character's body build. They also added some costume change emotes. It's pretty funny using the emotes to go from a tiny girl to a huge man. All the info on the pack is here.

Same here. There's one character in particular I've waited for that for, a power armor user. In the armor he's Huge, but I can't make a non-armor costume for him because he's supposed to be an engineer, not the Hulk. Can't even just go without a helmet, just doesn't look right.

You get zero credit towards any badges that are not AE badges while in AE. This includes kills, damage, debt repayment, inf badges, etc and so on. And some of those damage badges are insane, you won't see a lot of progress unless you leave it running over night or something.

Also, you'll want to kill the sound IMMEDIATELY, but here's the i15 non-booster back emotes. You already saw the vanguard one last thread.

The regular i15 emotes are pretty basic but I like them. Evil Laugh is pretty cool.

Also, I have to say CoH is going ALL OUT lately. They're adding changes that they have been reluctant to change for so long and I say good on em.
