Prototype? What is this?
Basically, its Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (a PS2/GC/Xbox game) with gore. One could call it a superhero game, but really if you're calling Mercer (the main character) a hero you're probably the type of person who considers torturing kittens a relaxing sunday afternoon.

The long and the short of it: You have amazing abilities to wreck shit, while everybody else in the game world either:
A) Shoots at you
B) Tries to eat you
C) Runs away screaming from you

I hear this game has Parkour and I can jump like a fairy

It does have Parkour (or Freerunning or whatever the fuck you want to call it), and Mercer certainly is light on his feet for a couple ton killing machine.

Is this better than InFamous?

Opinions on this will differ widly, because the're different games. The best analogy I've heard is this:

"InFamous is like GTA4, while Prototype is like Saints Row2. GTA is a prettier game, trying to make a realistic world as possible. Saints Row 2 just wants you to blow something up"

Is there anything I should know about the different versions?

There are reports of the PC version having some technical difficulties involving Sound and Slowdown
PS3 is also apparently experiencing some troubles installing. WORKAROUND HERE

A complete (?) move list provided by our very own Orichi_Rockman (who stole it from schlubes who aren't one of us)
Here's the move list. Most everything outside of just regular combos has to be bought via EP. So don't neglect those side Missions.
