Help me find a Pink DS...please?

I've already bought my girlfriend a couple Christmas gifts, but recently she has been hooked on, and been talking about nothing else but my DS and Elite Beat Agents. She is a pink freak as well. Well, after her ranting and raving last night, I realize I'd be a good boyfriend to find one for her for Christmas.

All I need are some places online that do or potentially COULD have some in stock. I know about eBay, something I'm trying to avoid. I'm at work or else I'd sit and think this over myself. Thanks guys...this is pretty important to me, or else I wouldn't make a begger thread.

I know you ask for online places, but is that because you've exhausted your local possibilities?

I ask because if not, it might be something to try. My girlfriend walked into an EB Games about 3 weeks ago and just bought one off the shelf (pink ds lite).

Yeah, unfortunately, I have. I spent all day shopping yesterday, and everywhere I went, I asked about the DS (brother would like a white one, but that's a bit easier to find, and I'm leaving that to my mom) and the Wii (I got laughed at for that one.) 3 Gamestops, 2 Best Buys, 1 Circuit City, 1 Sears, 1 Toys R Us, 1 KBToys, and a Target. All of them have none. Not only are all these locations out oof Pink DSs, but they are out of ALL DSs. I was quite amazed and impressed actually.

Huh, the pinks seem to be out of stock in the UK as well. Although play.com does have the original DS in pink (not the Light).

I have looked all over trying to find a pink DS for my mom's Xmas gift, but they are hard to find here as well. It's odd.

German Amazon got it in stock. Works just like the american one so the language shouldn't be an issue.

It says on this site that if you order within the next 5 hours (starting now at the time I am making this post) that it should arrive, at your place in america, on the 24th.
(the deadline being midnight CET, today)

(but please don't hold me responsible tho if it does not work out)

Just checked Canadian amazon got it too. Would be even easier I guess.

I know I waltz right in to the Best Buy in Reston, VA (which I will do in a few minutes on my lunch break) and pick up several. As a matter of fact, pink is all they have.

So have you tried bestbuy.com? It seems odd that they would have them to send to stores but not to fulfill online orders.

A quick check of Future Shop and Best Buy in Canada shows that we've got them coming out our ears (in Ontario at least).

If you're in for a road trip. You'll spend way more if you ship it from them.

Man, out of all those, only one had them in stock for a normal price.

If anyone's interested in getting one, you can find one at www.hypergameaction.com. The seem decent, but they may not keep great track of their stock, so I may be dissappointed here soon. In any case, thanks for the help, guys. Trippy especially....I always forget about Froogle. My girlfriend will be a very happy person on Christmas, which makes me even happier.

I'm doing the same, except I'm in Toronto and we seem to have a fuck load of them.

(man, I'm going to drop so much money on Video games tonight.... bleh)
