Buy this now and quit complaining about paying full price on XBL!

It's a limited-time offer, and I think about 2800 cards are left. Note that this is no longer the 12+1 month card, so they're stiffing you on a month but getting a year for $28 is still killer. You will need an eBay account and pay by PayPal though, methinks.

    My gold just ran out yesterday. I wasn't going to renew it since I don't really play much online with it, (use the ps3 for that) but $28 isn't too bad.... hmmm. (Might as well since I'm going to want gold when the "The Guild" episodes are released.)

    Edit: 1550 left when I ordered. Also worth noting it requires paypal for payment.

    So....anyone want to add me to their xbox friends list? I have literally 0 friends, which is probably why I never use multiplayer on it. Live Gold is so wasted on me.

    I was going to buy one, but then I was presented with a screen requiring a PayPal account. I refuse to register an account with those assholes; I've seen too many bad stories about their server insecurity.

    Now I just need to play online with someone sometime. So far I pretty much only use gold for Netflix.

    It can stack on top of an existing account; I think you can have up to three years prepaid and set on your account, after that it gets buggy from what I've heard on CAG. I've been using prepaid cards since I signed up, and I've been able to redeem two cards in a row—it just shows a combined time.

    OK, I'll bite.

    At $28, it's really hard to say no. That's just over $2 a month :shock:

    Probably won't use it till we get a firm date on Crackdown 2 though. I love me some Crackdown co-op :mrgreen:

    I wish there were a way to "suspend" your Gold subscription. I probably only use Gold 1 or 2 months out of the year. I know there are one-month cards, but $9 a pop is a bit much.
