End of Dark Reign *Speculation, but spoilers may come up*
I think that teaser was meant as a call-back to the Loki subplot in Amazing Spider-Man, but JMS fucked up the timing between what he was doing in ASM and what he was doing in THOR.
Basically, JMS shouldn't be allowed to write non-creator-owned books.
From the Mondo Marvel Panel at the Fan Expo, I found this quote of particular interest.
Q: Are there any Scarlet Witch plans?
Quesada replied, "Big plans. I've spoken about the story she will be involved in, but have not mentioned her by name, but she will be brought directly into the middle of the Marvel Universe."
That could just as easily be a hint for the Magic Event thing or something else entirely, though. Had he talked about Siege by September, or hinted towards it?

It is probably the Young Avengers book Heinberg is writing that they've been hyping as a big event next year.
Also, I grabbed this from the Siege Trailer. Unless I missed it being shown before, I'm pretty sure it's the only new image in the whole thing!
You might also take note of Osborn's hand and the Repulsor thing. Not sure why both Tony and Norman's suits are sporting that now, but it's not just Bianchi's doing.
As random as Marvel thinks it can make it's promotional collages, it's going to be X-Man, cause Nate Grey needs a continuity in into the modern Marvel Universe

Either Osborn is the one who was opening the briefcase in that previous teaser, or this is Bianchi's liberty with the Iron Mans design.
And that looks to be Ares on the left with the sword that was probably in the FCBD issue.
Wish I could find my FCBD issue, I am fuzzy on it. But yeah, it's either Ares or Daken based on the weird hair thing.

Asgard was merging into our world and it was because of this sword the frost giants had. Ares and Thor both realized it was super duper important and powerful, like a sword equivalent of Mjolnir.
It might just be a regular Ares He-Man Power Sword (TM), but I was thinking since it was Bendis who wrote the FCBD issue it might have something to do with Siege.
I disagree with the TWC write-up on the Beyonder - he's the only character in that collage that's a) vivisected Doom (Secret Wars #10) and b) punked Doom (Secret Wars #12). The Strange/Doom GN established that Doom fights Mephisto every year for the soul of his mother (
and that actually gets resolved in the book, when Strange/Doom beat Mephisto and free his mom
so looking at the flying guy teaser some more after reading that link. i don't really think it looks like a cape, it looks more like a billowing coat that is open. it doesn't expand between its legs suggesting its not a cape

Didn't the Void run around in a trenchcoat and hat bit during the Sentry's old-school days?

How is Thor having any trouble with those punks? *spits*

They need to convince us that Osborn was actually ever a threat?
You can ablooablooabloo about the way Osborn came into power all you want, but you can't say he isn't a threat with all the tools he has at his disposal, such as the whole of Hammer, Hood's crew, and the Initiative aaaaand the Sentry. And, seriously, we don't even know what that's from or the events surrounding it. I highly doubt Siege is going to play out like this:
Or perhaps it's that the Iron Patrot armour gives Norman Osborn sterngth class 100, and that Thor doesn't have the Odin Force any more. Could be that Thor just got smacked by someone else and the Iron Patriot got a sucker punch in.
Also, I would like to state for the record that I truly hate the style of that artwork.
If all of the Dark Avengers ambushed Thor, I think he might have a serious problem. Ares has his Adamantine weapons and possibly a funky kind of sword, Sentry is probably Thor's equal in raw power, and of the other ones mobbed him they could keep him busy for the big guns to do some serious damage.
EDIT: I just saw the Siege trailer, and in there is a piece of artwork which shows Asgard divebombing into Broxton in a huge explosion of fire etc. That's pretty hardcore.
Probably, we don't know whats going to happen with the Sentry. Bendis says origin is forthcoming so it may hit before the Thor fight and he might be indisposed. Or the Beyonder.
I'm hoping that Rob Reynolds will be set free from the room in his head (from DA/X-Men Utopia) and that he will have his powers. He has always created the Void and the Sentry to act for him, and it would be cool if Rob started to do the hero thing by himself. There's supposed to be an "age of heroes" coming after Siege, and Rob could be the new hero that lights the way.
Also, Rob's molecules are phased slightly into the future. Now, MM was able to fuck up the Sentry because the Sentry is a construct created by Rob Reynold's to be a hero. However, if Rob went up against MM, would his highly unique molecular structure mean that MM couldn't hurt him specifically? Then Rob can take on MM in a spectacular fight with energy blasts and the very world around them being warped by MM to try and stop Rob.
Ignoring the weird fabric like effect going on with bucky caps suit, yes that would be awesome. To be precise, it would be awesome if he pulled the trigger.

Bucky should, only to have Spider-Man freak out and get in the way, saving Norman's life only for him to go and kill someone like Luke and Jessica's kid. Now THAT'S psychiatry!
I love that Alan Davis variant. It reminds me of that Sacrifice three parter he did in Iron Man/Thor/Avengers. The man needs to be on a monthly book.

Damnit, I was hoping to go back and look at that pic of the cover with the suitcase and Steve in the background when I saw those repulsor things on the back of Norman's Iron Patriot gauntlets. Could it be Norman handing his armor over? I know, crazy notion and folks have shot it down before but with everything going on I still think it would be possible for someone to take over as Iron Patriot so long as it was publicly known what Norman was doing. I guess I'm just hoping to see something cool but I think it would be interesting to see.

More like The Master in his new incarnation, I'd say.
Owenashi: yes, yes he did.
Solar: marry me.
BTW: I am totally not gay. Or a woman.
Yes, this. This is what I want.
