Please post photos only, nobody reads lists! Any and all gaming photos welcome, I love the little insight into your little gaming world it brings.

Coming off the high that was Justice For All's final case I had to get the next chapter in the series. So far so good (loved playing as rookie Mia), tutorial trial finished, onto the real game. As an aside the Phoenix Wright games are surprisingly rare for modern games, there were only two legit copies of Trials and Tribulations on ebay when I bought it. There's a bootleg on ebay right now that doesn't even have the right ESRB rating!

Crossposted from the Workstation thread over in the tavern:

Finally got my room neat enough that I'm confident to show it off. I've got "The Desk Area" and "The Gaming Area". There's a third area I'm gonna call "The Retro Area", which is basically the living room of my house, where my SNES & NES reside, along with the main DVD player and the Sony 5.1 system. It's too late for me to grab some pictures of now but I'll snap some tomorrow or later this week just to show that setup.

Also not pictured is my dresser, where my DS, PSP, and Cell get charged via one of those organizer charger doodads, but that's because it's currently got a bit of a mess a'top it.

First, the desk area. Spoiled for slight largeness.

Here's an overview of the entire desk area.
    deskareaam5.jpg

Desk. 24" iMac, with a 15 year old desk. New chair pending.

Here's the media tower that resides to the left of my desk. Wii, 360, PSP, DS, Dreamcast, and NES games reside here. As you can see it's pretty much full, and with my purchase of RE4:W.E. I had to move Steamboy up above the PSP games. So now I have to decide what to do here. Do I start a third rack, or do I move something out? I'll likely move the NES games into the room that the NES is actually in, but I haven't decided yet.

Detail of the top of the media tower and wall. Hanging on the wall is a factory-sealed copy of Vegas Stakes, along with two sealed copies of Zelda 1 & Mario 1, from the Famicom Mini line.

Finally, large piece of artwork that resides on the wall right of the computer. I love it so. [Note 10-Year old DBZ clock]

And now onto The Gaming Area.

This is the bookshelf where my most-played stuff resides.
    gamingareatv4.jpg

Samsung HDTV, 360, Wii, Dreamcast, N64. The N64 is connected to power but I'm waiting to come across a S-Video cable before I connect it to the TV otherwise.

The area below the consoles is where I attempt to keep shit organized. I've got a few plastic drawers sorted by console: NES, Wii/GCN, GBA, etc. Labeling to follow soon. GBA games reside in the blue plastic container on the upper shelf. I intend to get them cased up alongside the DS games someday.

Here's the gaming area tower. It holds at least one controller for each console on the bookshelf (With the exception of the N64), along with DVD movies & SNES games. Hanging next to the shelf is my Game Boy Micro in it's case.

Detail of the area above the gaming area tower. On the wall is a photograph taken by myself a few years back in a Photography course in college, and a laser engraved piece of silver plastic I made at my place of employ.

Bonus: Finally, a companion piece of art to the one posted earlier, located on the same wall as the bookshelf:

    Here's the Aforementioned "Retro Room":

Here's the Entertainment Center. Only notes of interest are the 5.1 system, the SNES, and NES.

I keep them in this room because I find they play better on the old TV. I need to rearrange this since the shelf above the VCR is now available (Books used to be there.) Also ZOMG VCR.

The recliner. Only object of note here is the speakers in the rear of the room.

I'll have to take a few new pictures since I now have a real desk chair and I have a few more games on the shelf now.

AND the SNES and NES are on separate shelves so they aren't so damn crammed now.

Thanks for sharing mz. I am envious of your retro setup, I had to get rid of all my retro stuff when switching to LCD. Hopefully one day I will have the space for a CRT again.

Here is my games shelf. Sadly the flash has reflected quite badly off my Gamecube games, a good photographer I aint.

Don't feel too bad. The only reason the "retro setup" exists is because my parents tend to buy the cheapest TV they can find and keep them for 10 years.

They're not exactly techies (And in fact they still use a CRT monitor with their computer) so that just helps out in my situation.

I need to do that one day, but the problem is once I get 'em in cases I have no place to display said cases at the moment.

    Ha, fair play :P

Yep. I had the covers printed at a print shop and whilst the paper (the right kind of glossy) and print quality is spot on, they did a lousy job cutting them out so half of them have a white stripe above. I need to trim those off when I get access to one of those paper guillotine type tables. The most expensive part was ordering the DS cases because they had to come from America. Anyway it's something I recommend doing, they look very cool on my shelf.
