So I have a Pro console, and because our HDTV is pretty much unavailable after 5pm, I was wondering if hooking it up to an HDMI-equipped monitor was a viable solution. Will I have the same crispness as if it were hooked up to a regular HDTV? For reference, I'm running 1080i on a 35'' TV currently, and it looks great. Is there anything I should know before taking the plunge?
Unless your monitor supports HDMI audio (most don't) you will have to make a slight modification to the HD A/V cable to get audio out on a separate connection.
Other than that, it should look just as good assuming your monitor supports the resolutions you can use on the xbox.
