I need something drawn. Unfortunately, I can't draw.

Hey all, this is a pretty simple "problem."

Something happened today that I must immortalize forever...unfortunately I don't have the necessary skills.

Can I commission someone online to draw it for me? If so, are there any recommendations for specific people/websites? I'm more than willing to pay someone on the board to do it for me, so if you know of anyone and they want some work, shoot them on over. Anyway, how much would this sort of thing cost? I'm not asking for anything complicated...its a fairly simple drawing, really. I don't want to pay much though.

Here's what I want drawn, but I'll give the back story so it makes sense:

My buddy and I had about an hour to kill today until we met up with some friends. In the same parking lot that we are meeting our friends is a Chuck E Cheese. Feeling nostalgic, I park my car and we head on in.

We mess around with a few games, and then we just chill by some stupid racing game and talk. We notice a little kid (maybe 3 or 4) get into one of those arcade racers with the seat and everything and start a race. Unfortunately his feet can't reach the gas pedal...it doesn't even come close. So we're watching this kid moving the wheel back and forth while his car isn't moving an inch. My buddy, being the good-natured guy that he is, walks on over (approaching from the right side), and asks the kid if he wants any help racing. The kid says yes, so Andre reaches his right leg into the racer and presses down the gas pedal. This, however, has put him in the hilarious position...his crotch is now in the oblivious kids face. I start cracking up in the corner, and he looks at me, confused, and I mouth the word "Pedo." He realizes the position that he is in and how it might look to others, but continues to help the kid race.

A lady screams "THATS MY CHILD" and points a finger at my friend. I'm laughing so hard that I'm crying, but I go to my friend and help him explain to management what exactly was going on. Luckily the kid confirmed that he was just helping, but man, it was hilarious.

What I want drawn is a picture of my friend helping the kid on the arcade racer...no background or anything. Just my buddy, the arcade machine, and the kid. I'll add a caption later on my own (taking any and all suggestions as well).

Thanks!

    From Artist Corner's rules thread:
10 ) Do Not Ask for Art in a New Thread
Do not start new threads to ask for free art, tattoo designs, Websites, etc. If you wish to commission paid work, ask in the CHAT or Questions/Discussion thread.

Seems like a good place to start.

While I will pay people on Penny-Arcade, I would also like suggestions for outside sources.

Conceptart.org has a section relating to commission work I believe.

Hunting around deviantart is another option (if you dare), although to be honest the artists you would really want charge up the ass and usually have a waiting list. I remember seeing one UDON artists charging upwards of five hundred dollars for a painted character drawing!

Just scavenge around for an artist you like and drop them an e-mail. Unless they're working a professional job, chances are they'll be eager to pick it up.

Ok so I've struck a deal with a person.

Neither of us really knows what a good price would be, so do any of you have suggestions?

He'll be drawing it with charcoal, on a 26" by 20" piece of paper.

    Thanks

Speaking as an artist, its up to him to decide.
Granted, he has given you the option of saying "man, I can only spend X" and low balling him.
