does iTunes 7 find cover art?

This feature seems to be present, but using it for albums which I don't have album art for doesn't do anything. Does this only work for music pruchased through them? That's a little...exlusionary and pointless...

    I think the album in question needs to be a) available on the iTunes music store, and b) tagged in such a way that it can recognize it as such. I get most of my music from another service, and iTunes retrieves art for some of those albums but not others.

    It doesn't only work for music purchased through iTunes, but they have to have the appropriate albums in their database. If they don't have it, you don't get it.

    Mine does.

    And it works for albums I didn't purchase through iTunes.

    What do you mean it doesn't do anything?

    it's gotta be named pretty much the same as it is listed in the itunes music store, album, album artist, etc
