This man is a comedic genius of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and late 90s. He is responsible for The Producers, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, History of the World, Part I, Spaceballs, and Robin Hood: Men in Tights. He is currently working as the producer of Young Frankenstein on Broadway and Spaceballs: The Animated Series. He also just turned 83 on June 28th.

Mel married Anne Bancroft in 1964 and she gave birth to his 4th child, a son.

This man (who kind of looks like a young Billy Crystal, or a Billy Crystal with more hair at the very least) is known for his books:

I'm told they're a must read for fans of Zombies, and the latter of the two is being made into a movie by Brad Pitt (and Paramount Pictures).

Now I'm really just a fan of the Patriarch but learning that the guy who wrote those two books (which I see talked about from time to time on here) is Mel Brooks' spawn kind of has me a little more compelled to go locate and read either or both of them.
