BBQ Buying Advice

I need to buy a new BBQ, and it seems like they're starting to go on sale at various places as summer goes on. Give me your advice and tips!

Some random points/requirements:

* I'm in Canada.
* I'd like to keep the initial cost to $300.00 or less. Of course, if I can get a more expensive BBQ on sale, I'll consider that.
* I'm looking for propane, not natural gas or charcoal.
* I don't need a rotisserie or side burner. If I can get a side burner, that's fine, but it's not something I care about.

Any tips, things to keep in mind, brands to go for/avoid would be greatly appreciated.

An example of one I'm considering:

Broil Mate

    If you're just looking for a decent size grill, you're fine with $300. You could even find a suitable grill for half that. The higher priced BBQs are the ones with fancy features like side burners and the like. Just drop into Home Depot and see what they have. Don't count out stores like Walmart either--if they have the brand, it might be a lot cheaper.

    I am also looking to buy a grill, but I was looking for a natural gas one, for around $500. I have heard good things about Weber. Charcoal is great, especially the weber one with the over sized ash catcher. I think its about 150, but you still have to deal with the time cost and mess of charcoal. Anyone have any natural gas grills?

    From what I've seen when looking around, most propane grills can be converted to natural gas or the propane model comes in a natural gas version.
