my brother's ds broke because it was made out of cheap crappy plastic but we didn't really care because after Mario & Luigi's Magical Bullshit Adventure 47 it had sort of lost its charm

All I have is a Gameboy Advance
I can't resist much longer. As soon as I come into some money I'm getting a DS
What are the "can't miss that it's so awesome" games for the DS
That Hatsworth game is a solid experience. Difficult, though. It also had me holding the DS in the worst possible manner which resulted in the maddest cramping and emotional pain.
I saw Pokemon Platinum and briefly considered purchasing it but then remembered how unimpressed I was with Pokemon Diamond and then just said "No".

i dunno if you guys know about this or if its even necessary but if you somehow use your ds so much that you fuck up the screens you can get brand new nintendo ds screens from dealextreme for like $5
which is reassuring
it would be neat if you could find a way to use them for something else but i doubt they would work without being inside a ds

Mario Kart
Pokemon
Zelda
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2
Also if you do get one do NOT get a DSi, the camera replaces the GBA slot and this would make you very sad if you managed to trash/lose your advance

I beat Flower, Sun and Rain. It is my favorite thing on the DS. Very much a video game about video games, wrapped up in a surreal dream experience. Everyone should buy it so that maybe they'll release The Silver Case in the US, which is connected to it in some way, so I can play it.

I have Metroid Fusion, it came with the Gameboy somehow
I suck at it so bad I've never played past the first level
yea i should really try out ffta2
i remember liking the first one quite a bit on gba until i got bored after a while or something
also mario golf on gba
only time my battery died within a day
but i got the ds when i was getting bored with the gba and i kinda stayed bored with handheld gaming so never really used it much unfortunately
would like to start using it more i think
Yeah everytime end up in a gamestop/EB I try and find some great games on the cheap, but they seem to know which ones are great and still charge $30-40 for them used.
Example:
MGS 2 for PS2 - $5
MGS:TTS for GC - $40

ffta2 is a little twee but fucking solid once you get into it and start unlocking the super awesome classes
and getting bored with your handheld is fine, you can just pick it right back up when you're ready again
unlike consoles where you have to drag it out of the cupboard and find the cables and fuck your sister stole your memory card and erased your saves
I have to agree with the positive comments made on FFTA-2's behalf. Fun game to play, especially when you get involved with side-missions that connect together for cool little stories on their own.
Putting up a vote of confidence for the latest Yu-Gi-Oh!-World Championship game too. Nice timesink of a game with some pretty cool online options (like 2 Vs 2 duels).

So I just leech hers
Also its my 24th birthday and I might get a new game wheee

I don't use my ds much.

New Super Mario Bros
Contra 4
Phantasy Star 0 is coming out this fall
I've been playing pokemon red for weeks and I'm sorta tired of the two color thing, I have to admit
platinum is the yellow of Diamond and Pearl
the Johto remakes are Soul Silver and Heart Gold
GBA has some pretty great games though
I'm still fucking blown away by how well they executed tony hawk 2
which is reassuring

That flip over backlit GBA was the bossest tits ever. The DS that I have is nowhere near as nice as that was.
Also I played Metroid: Zero Mission and Fusion on it so rose coloured glasses all up ins.
Oh and Super Ghouls n Ghosts while a girl I had just started seeing was giving me head.
That girl is now my wife.
I suck at it so bad I've never played past the first level
It's a splendid game, I guess something else must have come along to distract me
good call
Jeez now I'm remembering so many good games I should go back and play
i just had a look on youtube
holy shit
I felt the same way, then I went to EBgames and all they had for advance was shitty shovelware / a few $20 Zelda and FF games

nah
but happy birthday!
if you remove the last part of my last post from stole onwards it looks hells of dodgy
Weak burn bro
