I've got an eVGA Geforce 7800GT video card that's about a year old now. Lately it has been getting extremely hot -- over 100 degrees C under load, and the idle temp has gone up by about 20 degrees. I don't think it is a dust buildup issue because I blow the dust out of it every month or so. I think the fan may be dying.
I'm wondering if I should replace the fan with one of these Arctic Coolers or just get a new card. Anyone have experience installing one of those coolers?
Thanks in advance for any help. I wasn't sure whether to post this in G&T or here.
