media sharing with 360, ps3, etc etc

So something is up with my desktop downstairs,
I left for two or so months for Ft. Sill Oklahoma and come back to find the computer is no longer streaming media to my 360 and my newly aquired PS3.
It seems whenever I active it on the desktop, everytime i restart wmp11, a pop up comes up that says "Media sharing is currently disable, either because the sharing service is not running or your firewall settings have changed. To restart sharing, you must first confirm your sharing settings"
Which i do, but it never streams any media and it automaticly resets back off when i close wmp11 down, so the pop up comes right back as soon as wmp11 boots back up.
