Hey Everyone,
I am Speaker's wife. We just got a Wii and I would like to get Speaker a game for his birthday. Any suggestions? He commented in the store that the Star Wars games looked cool, are there any good ones? Any other really cool games out there? Thanks for your help!

For the Wii, I'd recommend the Lego Star Wars games. If he is a fan of lego (or was as a kid) that will combine perfectly with his interest in Star Wars.
You can also play the game co-op together, which is fun.
Lego Star Wars is a good idea. My wife and I had a really good time with Boomblox too.
If you don't already own this, grab it. Go ahead and just get the sequel, since I hear it improves on a lot and adds some nice features.
The original was easily my favourite game to play with the girlfriend as well as when friends came over. Most surprising game in the past several years for me, since "Spielberg + EA" seemed like definite shovelware when I first heard about it.

If you don't mind graphic horrific violence and really coarse language, Mad World is a very fun third person brutalizer of a game for the Wii.

I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
Boom Blox is great. If you like board game-type stuff, Mario Party is pretty fun. Super Monkey Ball has a ton of multiplayer mini-games in it that are a blast for two people. WarioWare is way fun, too. Super Smash Bros.: Brawl is great, if you like silly beat-em-ups.
As far as single-player games, Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, and Metroid Prime 3 are staples if he likes platformers or action games. Paper Mario is fantastic, too, if he likes RPGs.

I submitted an entry to Lego Ideas, and if 10,000 people support me, it'll be turned into an actual Lego set!If you'd like to see and support my submission, follow this link.
Thanks everyone for the great ideas! We played Paper Mario and Lego Star Wars when we had the Game Cube so I think maybe I will go for the Boom Blox? I don't really know what he likes for video games but for computer games he plays Morrowind and Civilization IV. Any other idea would be great!
