    Dude, you have a huge iron ram.

    Well Kavaki isn't so bloodthirsty as to slay sleeping men or those that aren't fighting, so there would be some crew left from before our takeovers. I'm just assuming some resistance from people as long as I'm menacingly wielding my greataxe at them.

    EDIT: Melding if you oppose Kavaki you'll be stripped naked and thrown overboard if you catch my drift :P.

    Defender/Controller x1 (Swordmage)
    Leader x2 (Artificer & Cleric)
    Striker x3 (Rogue, Barbarian, Sorcerer)

    What do we want in the party? A Controller type? A 2nd Defender? The classes that most intrest me are Swordmages (already taken), Bards & Warlords (where we already have two Leaders) and so I'm willing to play something different. Psion, Invoker, Druid, whatever. :)

    Any racial restrictions?

    Yeah, I'm basically ruining the first session for you now but:

    You move out of the place where you were imprisoned in, and then you move around on the ship until you get to deck where Herr Kapitan is holding a speech about the great haul they got.
    Then you can either fight a lot of crew or Melding duels the captain.

    EDIT: also you can be whatever you want. Maybe another character that can damage enemy ships?

    We also have a warden. but a controller would be useful i think, though the sorc might be able to handle it.

    And burning i mean i will tie him to the front of the ship, not replace the ram with a mermaid, then him, honestly.

    Berrian is the typical big talk, but knows when he might be outmatched and has a back up plan, so right now the plan is, if the dual with the captain starts going bad, storm sorc, start killing people, everyone else kill everyone trying to kill the storm sorc.

    Alternate back-up plan, Kavaki charges and crits (if only I could be so lucky) the captain for 18+1d12+1d8+10.

    Captain is mine, I would just want the crew fight for a diversion.

    I am also assuming most the PCs are evil or neutral, At least that's how i am making my plans for handling the crew and people.

    As the captain is the only one able to put up any semblance of a fight Kavaki'll be attack him. Butchering drunk men just isn't in his battle lust.

    Can I be the guy at the top of the ship that yells out "Land oh"? I know nothing about ships and their crew. And Im keeping his original storyline from the other thread but instead of going to Rivertown I get on the ship as a stole away. As a landlover, Jabez would have no sea or boating experience so he will need to learn something.

    right, but as a cleric, shouldn't it be or strength be your highest stat? I'm not trying to tell you how to do things, but as someone who currently has a generally low main stated sorc, don't expect to hit things incredibly often.

    I really didn't plan on being a "battle" cleric. I choose to do Devoted but Wis should be my highest then and not Cha. But Im happy with the stats. I wanted to be the guy that healed and helped but not play a bard. I know the bard in 4e is kick ass but since I only have the PHB 1 and Martial Power I can't play it.

    But as a cleric you also add your wisdom to heal people. I don't even know what you use charisma for on clerics, it pushes undead from turn undead but you have to hit them with it first. I'm just worried that you might feel liek you aren't of much use after a bit, cause i've been there with other characters and they where slightly more optimized too.

    personally, looking at your building, i would suggest something like 16,12,11,10,16,14 It still seems to have all the utility of the previous build, but should be able to make use of your attack's second ability outside of getting lucky.
