I'm getting a 403 on a website that I recently aquired (from a friend). Its running a phpbb forum and I was messing around with chmod to grant write access to a specific phpbb directory so it would allow me to webinstall a mod (EasyMod).
Somehow the shitty ass 10 year old FTP client I have on the company machine ate itself and shit out some bizzare string/command/something, because I did successfully install the mod to the phpbb directory, but, now I'm getting 403.
403 to the index.php for the forums, 403 to direct links/paths to files stored on the server... 403 to www.mysite.com... wtf?
Is there any easy fix for this? What do I need to chmod to fix it? Every file/folder I point to on the webserver has Owner as Read/Write/Execute and Group/Other as Read only.
