Weird noise coming from MBP Magsafe port

I seem to be on a role for weird noises lately.
So, there's a sound kind of like what a small poorly lubricated cooling fan might make at low revs. Because of this I thought it was my internal fan but when I listened more closely I discovered the sound what coming from where the magsafe port is, and when I unplug the magsafe cable the sound doesn't go away but changes in frequency/pitch.
Has anyone else encountered this? It's not very loud, but I can hear it well enough to concern me and make me think something's wrong. I never noticed it on the one I had before(This one was an exchange for one with USB problems).
