Superman is an amazing show, and I will tolerate no discussion to the contrary.
It's not bad, but I mean, blah. I don't know. It just comes off as so flat to me. In comparison to the others.
I think it started off pretty weak, but it was awesome central by the end. I do think the writers in both Superman and JL never really got a handle on Superman's character the way they did Batman's, though. Too often he was written as some lunkhead who charged in and got shocked with electricity over and over and over again.
Seriously
so much writhing

Also, I will say that the Superman cartoon has given us, bar none, the best take on Lex Luthor ever. From flabby scientist with a robot suit and a double chin, to cut-rate Kingpin ripoff, to Telly Savalas's Blofeld in On Her Majesty's Secret Service - the third time was clearly the charm.

I will agree that he was often made too weak on Justice League, where there was a team and it took a long time for them to get a handle on team dynamics. J'onn fell into this same trap. Hell so did Flash. In fact most of the league did for a while.
On his own show though, this didn't happen nearly as often and I think you get a good feel for how clever he can actually be. I hear all the time that he "charges in a lot" but that's like saying "Batman throws too many batarangs." He's using the tools he has. And secondly, while Superman is sometimes powerless and forced to fight off a bad guy with brain power (much in the style of Batman), why would the writers put him that situation a lot? I'm watching a show about superstrong, invulnerable dude. It'd be pretty dumb if I complained about too much punching.

couldn't just have said to CM "I'm pretty sure there's a bomb over there, so let's both use our super speed to check it out." It would've saved them so much trouble.

it was made out of nth metal, that's why
also it was Hawkgirl because they wanted to have another woman in the main cast and so they swapped out Katar Hol for Shayera
you know I can make it worse
fair warning: the only option will be "superman"
So I traded them in at MovieStop and got Mulan and Super Friends Season 1
That is my least favorite DCAU show.
Your plan is flawed.
You also let a baby die how could you do that to me
Maybe she didn't like people to know her real age

like in Justice League when he fights Captain Marvel, or Darkseid at the end
