Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall won't work. Whats wrong?

So I've decided to download Elder Scrolls Daggerfall, since it was just released for free on Elder Scrolls website.

When I launch the setup, however, it says something along the lines of my PC can't display full screen so it will abort. Whats the issue? And how do I fix it?

I'm running a 3.0ghz quadcore, 3 gigs of RAM, with an average graphics card, so I have no doubt that I can run this old game. Its just a little frustrating.

Thanks.

Oh, here's the link if you want to give it a download:

    Isn't DOSbox needed?

    Yes. Yes it is.

EDIT: The problem is that your computer is too good. Daggerfall is not limited in its speed, so even if you got it installed, since you are probably using XP, it would go extremely fast and would not show quest items. You need to use DOSbox to get it to run at the correct speed and with quest items.

If you follow Bethesda's installation instructions it should work just fine.

If you already did, make sure that you're using the latest version of Dosbox. If it's still not working, ask on the Dosbox forums. They'll be able to give you more detailed help than we can.
