I want to start backing up my music/pictures/documents onto a second hard drive I have. Can anyone recommend a good solution that can back things up on a weekly basis and just do an update on new/changed files when it does so? Thanks!
If you're using Windows you can use Robocopy, which is included in Vista and up, but for XP requires you to download the Windows Server Resource kit (or something along those lines).
Create a custom .bat file to copy the files you want with the options you want (you can choose to only copy new/changed files, for example) and then use scheduled tasks (in control panel) to set it to run whenever you want.
