I went to a Def Leppard concert Friday night, and man those dudes put on a good show. They also had Poison (they were okay) and Cheap Trick (we got to the venue a bit late and missed their entire set, and I'm not too happy about that) as opening acts.
I was a little sad when I realized these dudes are in their 40s and even the one armed drummer is in way better shape than I've ever been in.
I did not realized that I knew more Def Leppard songs than just Pour Some Sugar On Me until this concert. Let us take a look at some songs.

I saw them... a year and half ago I'd guess, something like that, and Styx opened. It was a great show. They write great songs. You can say they're sugary and poppy or whatever but they have some kick ass riffs. And a huuuuuuge sound. I think my favourite song by them is Hysteria.

Fun fact. Vivian Campbell, the guy on the far right in that picture in the OP, played for the Ronnie James Dio on the Holy Diver album (not sure if he played on any others).
There were a lot of Poison fans at the concert, but I think that can be explained by the fact that it was in Pittsburgh, and Brett Micheals is from a town near Pittsburgh. But yeah, definitely not impressed with Poison.
Def Leopard should be opening for Cheap Trick. But that does sound like a really cool line up. I'm seeing John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson opening for Bob Dylan this Friday

Also they did a song featuring Tim McGraw. Uhhhh yeah it's not bad. It's on my iPod.
