Over the last well since we've been in existence fans have been telling me to join the forums here and get active in this community just like over at SA and I just have been slow to react. I was linking a friend to the strip from a few days ago and thought, hey why don't I join.
Who are we? Well, check out www.formerfatboys.com for more info, but we're a nerdcore act that's been around as long as mc chris and the front and we've played a ton of shows with chris, done stuff on rhyme torrents, are part of the Nerdcore for Life documentary, and play a lot of video games.
Anyway, I thought to say hello I'd post some free shit for ya here as both a Chrismas/Hanakuh/Kwanza present and a hello.
So here goes:
This is the first half of our debut album Rocky Loves Emily, we haven't given this much of it away anywhere so I'd appreciate if you kept it penny arcade only.

Honestly? I didn't even bother looking at any of it. I think the problem here was that you basically sitewhore'd. This wasn't a post that you made to "get critiques to further your musical abilities", but more of a "hey I'll give you guys some free stuff and here's a cover for your iPod's and Zunes[???? seriously, what??] because I'm sure you love us so much already that you're going to want to use this, hey dudes, if youcame for the lightsabers, they're in our totally awesome music video, and here are some totally rad screenshots of our totally rad group" post.
Typically, people post here to get better at something involving the arts. If you had posted a few direct links to some of your songs or your music video [like you did] and maybe, asked to be critiqued [which you didn't], the replies you got would be better...and probably more helpful to you, as well.
