So my macbook is burning my lap

Annndd I think its cause of the build up of dust causing it to heat up so bad. Can anyone teach me how to clean it ? I blew the vents with compressed air and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Any help would be appreciated.

    It's burning your lap because it is designe to conduct heat out through the bottom of the case. Laptop is a classic misnomer - laptops, as a univeral rule, should be operated on a flat, solid surface where air can pass freely across the bottom surface.

    There are things you can buy that allow you to put the laptop on your lap but... I'm not sure how comfortable/how effective they are.
