Wii Points Card question

I saw a Wii Points Card for sale. Since it doesn't say "Nintendo Points Card" instead, it should be one the old ones. The seller also says it only works for Wii. My question is, do those expire like Club Nintendo codes? I'd like to buy it since it's cheap, but if there is a possibility that they won't work on my Wii when I update it, I don't think I want to buy it.

    It's fine. All Wii Points Cards will work on the Wii, no problem.

    You'll be fine, don't worry about it since points cards don't expire and the points you put into your account don't expire, either. i've had 300 points for the longest time.
