did anyone read that loki series from a few years back? I saw the artist (esad rimic) was doing at least the cover for Jason Aaron's Wolverine Dark Regin the List thing-- guest-starring Fantomex and Noh-varr) and really liked the cover.
Thor: Vikings has no good Thor moments because fuck Garth Ennis why you gotta do that
While I agree with your fuck Garth Ennis sentiment Thor himself was pretty good in Vikings.
Apart from the fact that he needed a power-up to fight magic zombie vikings. Seriously. What? He's fucking Thor. Magic vikings or regular vikings, he is fucking Thor. Mightiest in the Nine World. Odin's beard that was a shitty idea.

Having discovered that his regular artistic collaborator Ian Churchill had in fact been forced into his familiar Jim Lee-influenced style by editors in the X-Men office some years back — the admonition was simply that, if you don’t draw in this (”kick-ass!”) style, you won’t get work — Jeph Loeb’s writing him something to draw in his original style, his true voice.
Jeph loeb may write bad stories, but this makes me respect him a little bit more

See I don't remember any of the good Thor moments precisely because of the second part.
Seriously after his arms get shattered I just kind of glaze over and forget the whole story

Speaking of badass vikings
I'm currently reading the second Northlanders trade
God this comic is so fucking good
I love the art too, it's perfect for the series, even if I'd probably dislike it in any number of other works
Bendis Avengers is not for everyone and it isn't anything like a Waid/Morrison JLA
definitely go with Busiek/Perez
everything they did was gold
I love New Avengers but it's a very very different thing from classic Avengers.
For classic stuff I agree with the Busiek/Perez run. Although really the entire Busiek run even after Perez left is pretty good.
Kaaaaaaang Waaaaaaaar.
Mysterio won't be the only enigmatic character maneuvering about in the pages of “Ultimate Comics Spider-Man.†Readers will also be introduced to the Ultimate Universe incarnation of the Shroud. “We'll be teasing this person. You won't know if they're male or female but it is someone very famous and we'll be revealing their identity in the first arc,†Bendis explained. “This Shroud is very different from the Marvel Universe one. Our Shroud is someone you've seen. They're a survivor of 'Ultimatum' who for some reason feels they can't show their face anymore.â€
So, any guesses? My first one after looking at the preview again was Ultimate Luke Cage, but then I remembered that his Ultimate self was made out to be one of those poser Defenders. Ultimate Iron Fist maybe?

Every Thor moment is basically wonderful because Thor is fucking spectacularly rad.

Even if it does humanize Loki too much
Minus the terrible beard, definitely
'Why are you two here?'
'JUSTICE'

Same with Celestial Madonna, though I love both those stories.
Disliking Ryan Kelly at all is terrible quetzi.
also come on ajnin
Thor: Vikings sucks
Then I read every issue after Civil War up to Secret Invasion
I stopped right before the tie in with Secret Invasion
you suck
(unless written by not Bendis)
anyone who likes the hood is awful

Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)
And then when he wasn't written by BKV he was awful and a terrible character.
I am tempted to read the new Jeff Parker mini because that man can do no wrong
This is interesting: Walking Dead Announced for Series on AMC
what
it's The Walking Dead
it's a generic zombie thing
the only reason you hate it is because Kirkman is pretty bad and has made some dumb calls in it but it's not being written by Kirkman
