Netmarble, a developer, publisher, and supporter of Korean online games, has recently gone global with the objective of localizing their games for the English-speaking market. In Korea, their most popular game is Sudden Attack, an FPS that is probably the most played online game in PC Cafes, despite it being a shotty-version of Counter Strike. However, not all of their games lack quality. Hits like Mini Fighter (A sidescroll fighting game with multiple game modes) and Gunz (Unique FPS with level ups and "Matrix-esque" combat) are fun, quality games that are easy to pick up and play for an hour.
Starting
July 23rd, Mini Fighter will enter Closed Beta. To get a key, all you need to do is create an account, verify the account, follow the Mini Fighter Closed Beta Test link on the main page, click the advertisement on the left side of the page that says "Closed Beta Test," then click "Sign up for first closed beta test."
I've personally never played Mini Fighter, but I look forward to trying it out during the beta test starting tomorrow. Having never played the game, some of the information listed in their guides is a little confusing. Here's a couple of quick links if you're interested:
