Oh well. The Bears Defense came up big, and by the last half of the 3rd Qtr the Saints gave up.
They were beat but it is a little bothersome that they played in Chicago and The Bears had a total of ONE penalty the entire game, yet there were a lot of highly questionable non-calls and a lot of Bears offensive holding that was at least blatant from the TV screen.
But you can't expect refs to catch every call, the Bears D showed up and Saints only got into a rhythm offensively once. After that safety that the Bears D practically talked the refs into calling, the game was over.
Now I just want the best AFC team to win fairly so they can beat Chicago, being that I'm a Packers and Saints fan, not my best time watching a game.

You can't honestly tell me that wasn't intentional grounding...for real.

Sorry Shim, I know how it feels, being a Pats fan for years back when they sucked balls. I can't complain now, obviously, but being awful forever and then sniffing a title is never fun.
Now I just hope we can get a rematch of Super Bowl XX.

Oh no it was, but it wasn't called until there were 3 Bears players in the refs face, wait 5 minutes then threw a flag.

It was. I was really more kinda mad about the non calls on holding, and that questionable fumble on the kickoff return. Where the ball was moving, but Lewis kept his hand firmly over the ball, hit the ground and then it was stripped from him and they called it a fumble.
But oh well, Bears won. Good for them. Still just a game.

That was a really tough call to make on the field. The ruling was that the ball was knocked loose and he lost control of the ball while being dragged down. That is a fumble. In the replay it was indeed knocked loose but control was questionable. Thus, not enough evidence to overturn. If the it weren't ruled a fumble it probably wouldn't have been overturned then either.
I can understand excitement, but jesus fuck my room mate does not need to applaud and yell every time the Pats move the ball more than 2 yards. Jesus christ, it is only the first quarter.

Dare I said it? I dared!
I, for one, may be one of the only happy ones. If I see any more Katrina footage I'm going to shoot myself in the fucking head.
Ok, I refuse to believe every team I want to win this year will win....life is treating me so well.
I agree.

My God! The disease is airborne!
While you can't excuse bad turnovers, they are down by 18 so I guess Brees feels he has to force things to happen.
STD.
"Did you see that throw? Perfect. Did you get hard, Drew? Bend over."
Now he knows how Brett Favre felt all of last season.
