webpage editing software

My girlfriend is looking for some web page editing software, she knows HTML but honestly she doesn't want to bother with that.

Anyone here know any good editors to help her speed up the process?

    KompoZer?
Free WYSIWYG HTML editor that doesn't add useless crap like FrontPage does.

Honestly, a WYSIWYG will mostly slow you down. Once you have the CSS file set up, it's just a matter of placing DIVs and assigning IDs or classes to the right elements. This is certainly faster in a plain text editor than a WYSIWYG editor.

Well, if you just wanted syntax highlighting, Notepad2 would be your best bet. But the OP specified "she knows HTML but honestly she doesn't want to bother with that" which sounds like WYSIWYG to me. Also, it's not like KompoZer doesn't give you the raw HTML to play with and tweak if you want to.
