Good week I guess!
Wii owners get the sequel to famous launch game, packed wit Motion Plus, as
Wii Sports Resort comes out this week!
Wii owners should also be getting the latest
Tales of Monkey Island: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal! Finally!
And to continue the non-stop release of awesome 2D fighting games, my sources show that
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is released for XBox Live Arcade this week! Awesome time to start using those SFIV sticks you bought for more 2D awesome action!
Also, the
PC finally gets its port of
Bionic Commando, the latest 3D iteration of the series. It's only $40, but that's a far cry from the new MSRP of $20 for the console versions. Still... it's out this week, eh?
Go get'em!

Bionic Commando was on special on Steam this weekend, the deal might still be going for it. I've only heard bad things about it though.
Or at least it will be, after I take the bar exam and recover from the subsequent multi-day bender.
Of course, bar studying or no, I couldn't help picking up Wii Sports Resort today.

I will own Marvel vs Capcom 2 this week though.

But seriously does anyone know where to find XBL points cards on sale? The cheapest I can find a 1600 card is $19.50 from Amazon.
I wish that they had done some marketing for it this year, or that the game had made its original release of last year when everyone was excited about Rearmed.

I'm surprised I didn't see a single commercial for it. Usually Capcom advertises the hell out of their projects. No advertisement and a multiplayer only demo for a single player focused game ensured its death.
Also, XBL points almost never go on sale. Last week target had a $5 giftcard with purchase of 1600 points, but that's the only deal I've seen in a long time.

Yup, you nailed it. Their only add push was for Rearmed and the new game together, which happened a year ago. They even had a trailer for the new one inside Rearmed, which was the first trailer that really made me pay attention to the new game. The weird choice of demo totally sealed the deal. Capcom killed that game through poor marketing, which I agree is really odd, given the phenomenal marketing of RE5 and SFIV this year.
Maximumzero, I totally agree! The game is actually longer that it seems. I was playing it with a friend the other day and I was like "Oh we can totally beat this in like 4-5 hours." Turns out it's a fair bit longer than that, but it's so awesome the time just flies. I think it ended up taking us around 7 or 8.
