Fuck it, let's do this.

Recently, I've been watching this:
title.jpg
And I've realized, it's a pretty awesome show

For those who don't know, it's about Dr. Sam Beckett,
This guy
Scott.jpg
along with his buddy, Admiral Al Calavicci,
That guy
admiraldean.jpg
and some top scientists who have created a top secret machine
usinsupercomputer.jpg
to send them back in time. However, because their funding was going to be cut, Sam uses the machine too early.
leapin.jpg
This sends him back into time, fixing problems in order to leap into the next life, hoping he'll be able to get back to his own.

With no idea who he is each leap, he has to rely on others or Al to tell him his background.
Gettinbackgroundinfo.jpg
Al contacts Sam as a hologram and using the supercomputer Ziggy, he has to help Sam figure out what he's there to do

A few of his encounters include:
Bein' Rambo
BeinRambo.jpg
Makin' out with babes
leap3.jpg
Bein' babes...:winky:
leap2.jpg
Connin' people
conman.jpg
Bein' blind8-)
blindpianist.jpg
Gettin' executed
executed.jpg
Slingin' guns
Gunslingin.jpg
Bein' a Jew Priest!
Jewpriest.jpg

Say what you will, but Bakula is a kickass acting machine

Screw you Phare, this will not crash and burn, only slowly run into a halt and be forgotten

    never actually seen this show

though I will say that one of my favorite lines from Tiny Toons ever is when, during the christmas special with the obligatory "it's a wonderful life" parody, buster says "I feel like I'm in a bad episode of quantum leap"

that made me laugh as a kid and it still makes me smile now

I love the hell out of Quantum Leap. I got the seasons on DVD as a gift, and it was totally unexpected and awesome in every way. I rewatch it waaay more than I would have anticipated.

Also I love Al, and the last episode is awesome.

Anime movies are usually pretty putrid with a few exceptions but yeah, that one wasn't bad. I may or may not have teared up at one part, shut up don't judge me.

TDOT I love you so much for this. Time Squad is probably what got me into history and giving thumbs up all the time.

Also Quantum Leap is a damn fine show and I frequently have to prove this to the people I know and love. Seriously, what's not to love about this programme?

Yeah, that was a good one

The best ones were the ones with Ricardo Montalbon in them, though!

I think the writers relished writing goofy things for him to say
