My brother's PC is having sound issues. It's happened with every player and whether he uses speakers or headphones and it happens with both video and sound files. I've downloaded new players and codecs to try and updated everything possible, nothing has worked so far and I'm at a loss.
It didn't happen until he brought it home, so I think he may have damaged the soundcard in some way, but I'm not very experienced with this. It sounds like the sound is stuttering, like it catches it one point and then starts playing normally for another 30-50 seconds before it does it again. It lasts for maybe 5 seconds. Any ideas?
