Iron Man 2 The Game, Iron Man 2 The Flamethrower

I feel like they could make a fun game out of this and the first Iron Man at the very least looked decent. Maybe I'm crazy, but since Sega is responsible for making it, why don't try to get some of the same team that worked on Virtual On. Flying battling Robots...Iron Man, seems like a decent match. I know it's fighting versus Action but still.

Did anyone dig the first Iron Man game. I felt like it could have been good, but it seemed to scattershot to be really good.

Not really. The inherent licensing made it rubbish, the previews made it look to be rubbish, and by many accounts it was rubbish. A shame, but that's what happens with tie-ins.

Please just tell me that you're pining for a second one, goodness knows why, and that they're not actually making a second game.

EDIT: And they are releasing a sequal to a cash-in game that sold horribly and was rated horribly whyyyyy?

I'm pretty sure that an Iron Man 2 game has been announced some time ago.

Yeah, they're making a second Iron Man game to coincide with the second movie, if I remember correctly.

The first game looked absolutely awesome.

But the controls...oh god, the controls. So horrid.

Anyways, it seems like they are at least aware of the main problems in the previous game and are attempting to address them...sooo could be good.

But yeah it'll sell, just like the first one did and like all movie tie in games do. I assume the market is mostly young kids and misinformed teenagers that don't read reviews or possibly even care that theyre playing a shitty game. But really wouldn't the Virtual On dudes have a better chance at making a good game? I used to fucking love virtual on.

I would love to see the dudes who did the Another Century's Episode games tackle an Iron Man game.

This one isn't really a tie in, more just using the movie universe instead of the comic universe. It follows up Iron Man 2 the movie, so you will be playing a new story, just you'll have digital Robert Downey Jnr and Gwyneth Paltrow. All signs point to garbage still, however.

The first game was made by Secret Level, using the same tech they used to make ....another game that was also not that great

I found both games to be sadly mediocre.

If they pull this one off, then that'd be cool, though I don't have too much hope for it unfortunately.
