Web ready baby monitors...

So, my wife's gonna squeeze a kid out next month and I thought about putting in a webcam for my parents who are up in Canada to watch him ala Truman Show... the originally idea came from this guy here:

http://www.sassybaby.com/category?cattype=category&catid=64

Which from what I can tell appears to requires Skype or MSN to work...

This is not really what I want, I want something that ties itself into a website... With my home server I have a free DNS hosting solution for my IP adress, on FiOS 25/15mbps, so it's a doable project, just need a camera that'll get the job done right...

Suggestions?

Does not HAVE to be a baby monitor solution, if a linksys wireless webcam does the trick, then so be it... Just not something that has to go through MSN/Skype

I have no useful information here; my advice is that you consider this carefully. Unless your wife is going to be a first-time mother dying for some support from in-laws, the phone calls every time the baby cries might get old quickly. They can't question her every decision if they can't *see* her every decision, and it might be best if you stuck to smiling baby pictures every few weeks, or something you turn on and off at scheduled times rather than leaving it running 24/7.

    Just my completely unsolicited .02.

Yeah, also consider a password lock of some kind - even though people accidentally "stumbling" across your ip address on the internet and finding a live feed of your baby, and thinking anything other than "oh, some guy put his baby on the internet" or "aw" or w/e and actually doing something bad about it is unlikely, I'd still like to be safer than sorry.
