Dell Laptop Docking Station Adapter?

Does such a thing exist? I've got a docking station for one type of Dell laptop; is there an adapter that will let me use another type with it? Or am I basically boned?

    I'm fairly sure that you'll have to get a dock for this new laptop. An adapter from one dock to another laptop would be big and bulky, and fairly useless
